$90M in incentives offered to Eaton Corp. to move HQ

Eaton Corp. plans to move from its downtown Cleveland headquarters to Beachwood, Ohio, and the manufacturer will receive around $90 million to relocate to the Cleveland suburb. The company laid off 60 employees in the Cleveland area in January and last week announced that nonmanufacturing employees will be required to take one week of unpaid leave. Despite the recent cost-cutting measures, Eaton still plans to move its headquarters to the $170-million Beachwood facility.
