Utah students press for more comprehensive sex education

High-school students last week told Utah legislators that they need schools to teach them how to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases even though legislators had previously halted a sex-education bill. While Utah legislators say parents should discuss such topics with teens, the students said the awkwardness of such discussions forces them to rely on often-inaccurate information from peers.
