Vet proposes euthanasia to curb feral cat population in R.I.

As efforts to reduce the growing population of feral cats in Rhode Island have proven ineffective, the state's veterinarian suggests euthanasia as a solution. The veterinarian proposed mandating shelters in the state to euthanize such cats, but this has failed to advance because of opposition from animal advocates.
