Twitter ads: Early results look encouraging

Does Twitter advertising make sense for small businesses? Ad agency chief David Szetela says he experimented with small ad buys for several businesses, and the results were encouraging, thanks to Twitter's "ability to target so efficiently and interject advertisements into a social conversation." Ad placements are handled through a sales staff, but Twitter plans to launch a self-service platform for small businesses this year.
