Low-fat diets better for heart health than low-carb diets

Low-fat diets may be more effective than low-carbohydrate diets for reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease because the higher fat content in low-carb diets could be detrimental to heart health, a new study shows. Researchers also found low-fat diets contain more folic acid, which is thought to reduce the risk of heart disease.
