New roof of Mo. library to feature a TPO layer

A new roof that will replace the leaky one at the Springfield-Greene County Library Center in Missouri will have a top layer of thermoplastic polyolefin material. The roof replacement will displace a bus stop nearby to make way for equipment that will remove about 325 tons of gravel from the building's existing roof. The TPO layer will reflect the sun's rays and help the library save on energy.
