Reynolds: Recession helped housewares industry grow stronger

The recent recession was ultimately a good thing for the housewares industry, according to International Housewares Association vice president of marketing and trade development Perry Reynolds. "Suppliers felt the downturn actually made them more focused and gave them the opportunity to find a way to focus business. We can see by the products it gave them the opportunity to really focus their efforts," says Reynolds.
