Retailers boost sales through in-store digital innovation

Alex Richardson of Selling Machine Partners explained how some retailers are using in-store technology to provide a "wow" factor as well as boost sales. Columbia Sportswear, for example, has introduced digital kiosks and signage, tech totems and interactive windows into its stores. During the holiday season, the retailer saw online in-store purchases accounted for 3% of its sales.
