Restaurants, movie theaters and other venues are preparing for New York City's ban on sales of sugar-sweetened drinks in sizes larger than 16 ounces, set to begin March 12. Some are offering two-for-one drink promotions, others are buying smaller serving glasses and many are waiting for the results of a lawsuit against the law, filed by the ABA and others. "Some of the impacted businesses are starting to already undergo adjustments. It's our opinion that we should have a decision before moving forward with implementation," said ABA spokesman Chris Gindlesperger.
