Green student projects advance to Lexus Eco Challenge

Birdhouses that protect biodiversity are one of three green projects that earned students from Utah's Olympus Junior High $30,000 in prize money and the chance to compete in the Lexus Eco Challenge. Other projects that made it into the final round of the national competition include a model wind turbine built by students at All Saints Regional Catholic School in New Jersey and an awareness campaign by students in Kentucky about the environmental impact of meat consumption.
