Ind. district boosts enrollment in machining classes

Vigo County School Corp. in Indiana is seeing more students in its machining courses as demand grows in the field. The school district has even invited local industry professionals to open houses to introduce students and parents to the profession. "It's one thing for a teacher to tell parents and kids," said Doug Dillion, director of career-technical education, but there is added importance when an employer addresses it.
