Obama: I won't let the budget fight derail my agenda

President Barack Obama says he's pressing ahead with his second-term agenda, despite the ongoing congressional row over budget cuts and government funding. Obama believes issues such as gun control, the minimum wage and infrastructure investments are too important to put on hold or to water down in the face of GOP opposition, officials say. "I think he has learned from the intransigence of the Republicans that it takes two to compromise and that he's not going to negotiate against himself," says one senior administration official.
