Shuttered Wis. dairy could be sold, reopened soon

The Golden Guernsey Dairy plant in Waukesha, Wis., which was shut down on Jan. 5 after Golden Guernsey declared bankruptcy, could be sold in May and reopened shortly after that, according to the company's creditor. Golden Guernsey is reportedly considering several bids, including a $5.5 million offer from LEL Operating Co., the parent company of an Ohio dairy processor.
