Appeals court rules Dish, EchoStar still infringing on TiVo

A U.S. appeals court has upheld a lower-court ruling that Dish Network and EchoStar are still infringing on patents related to DVR technology held by TiVo. The court found that changes Dish made after losing a related trial in 2006 were insufficient and told the companies to stop providing DVR services.
