Facebook likes Google in its mobile push

Facebook sees Google's technology, particularly its Android mobile operating system, as an important element in its mobile strategy. "We're a very significant application to them and they're a very significant platform to us," Facebook's Mike Shaver told reporters in a presentation at the social network's headquarters. Facebook is currently producing updates for its Android and iOS apps every four weeks, Shaver said.
