NFL will have to decide to do the right thing about gay players

Mike Florio writes that the National Football League will have no incentive other than doing the right thing when it comes to making the organization safe for openly gay players. Pressure is unlikely to come from lawsuits, fans or players who suspect discrimination. "The pool of potential plaintiffs consists not of people walking off the street and filling out an application but only of a relatively small group of individuals who already have worked their way through the lower levels of a similar locker-room mentality," Florio writes.
