Study links obesity, poor lifestyle to mental health problems

CDC researchers say depression and anxiety are linked to obesity and risky lifestyle choices -- such as smoking, drinking and inactivity. Their study finds adults diagnosed with depression were 60% more likely to be obese and twice as likely to smoke.
