Florida increasing availability of online education

Florida school districts will soon be required to offer an online learning option for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. More than 63,000 middle- and high-school students in Florida took classes from so-called "virtual schools" last year, and nationwide the U.S. Department of Education believes about 1 million students participated in some type of online education last year.
