Microchip helps bring Nebraska cat back to its owner

A cat that went missing in Omaha, Neb., in May 2008 was reunited with its owner last week, thanks to a microchip found underneath the animal's skin. A microchip "actually stays with the animal longer than its life span, so for us to find this microchip after the cat has been missing for two years is not uncommon," an animal advocate said.
