Dutch nuclear reactor passes in-depth stress test

The High Flux Reactor in Petten, the Netherlands -- operated by the world's second-largest source of medical isotopes -- is capable of withstanding such disasters as flooding and earthquakes, according to results of a comprehensive stress test. The Nuclear Research and Consultancy Group, the reactor's operator, said it plans to implement additional measures to boost the facility's safety.
