AT&T exec expects tablet subsidies to continue, for now:

AT&T will continue to offer a $100 discount on tablets that connect to the carrier's wireless network to help customers pay for the higher cost of 4G-enabled devices, AT&T Mobility Chief Financial Officer Pete Ritcher told an investor conference Wednesday. Ritcher said the subsidies will not be permanent, predicting that eventually all tablets will offer cellular connectivity built in.
