Intel touts "display as a service" for a multiscreen world

Intel has developed a technology it calls "display as a service," with a device that can control any display on a computer network, this blog post notes. At an industry conference in Germany, the chip company also demonstrated a prototype Windows 8 laptop with a detachable display, based on its forthcoming fourth-generation Core "Haswell" processor.
