March Madness is biggest postseason ad event, research shows

The 2012 edition of March Madness for the first time garnered more ad revenue for CBS and Turner Sports than the postseasons for the NFL, NBA, Major League Baseball and the NHL, Kantar Media has found. CBS/Turner Sports last year tallied more than $1 billion in ad sales, plus an extra $60 million for digital ads.
