Pentagon's Kendall may funnel money to advanced technologies

Frank Kendall, the Pentagon's undersecretary of defense for acquisition, says he may advocate funding more advanced technologies and research and development, a possible shift from his earlier plan to focus on affordability. Among the possible winners from such a change is the X-plane, developed with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
