Target wants to lure mobile developers with SXSW contest

Target is sponsoring a contest at this year's South by Southwest conference in Austin, Texas, hoping to get developers of mobile applications and websites to submit ideas. Seven finalists will each get $10,000 to flesh out their submissions and the grand-prize winner will receive $75,000, this blog post notes. "Target is currently focused on this opportunity to engage the developer community," said Target's Eddie Baeb.
