Korea to debut digital textbook

South Korean fifth- and sixth-graders will soon carry just one textbook: a digital tablet that contains textbooks, workbooks and dictionaries for every class in the elementary curriculum. About 20 elementary schools will start with the digital tablet in 2008; by 2011, 100 elementary, middle and high schools nationwide will use the new format.
