Dubai developers look to retail for growth

Dubai has an oversupply of office and residential real estate, driving more developers to build new retail properties as retail rents remain stable, says Jones Lang LaSalle. About 60% of the country's retail space is in large shopping centres aimed at tourists, a trend expected to shift as more developers build smaller centres designed to serve local residents.
