Study shows wellness program ROI within 3 years

The return-on-investment from a large employer wellness program was almost $3 for every $1 spent over three years, according to a study in the American Journal of Health Promotion. Researchers at OptumHealth said data showed a loss in the first year but net savings in medical costs in years two and three.
