Jenkins suggests Barclays could cut many more positions

Barclays CEO Antony Jenkins has indicated that a shift to automated banking could result in tens of thousands of job cuts. Barclays employs about 140,000 people, and Jenkins said in a meeting with shareholders that he expects the bank to employ about 100,000 in the future. Barclays recently announced a plan to eliminate 3,700 jobs.
