Sequester hurts small firms the most, experts say

Small defense firms, which depend upon a limited number of contracts for their revenue, will be hit hardest by sequestration, say experts, as they are less able to sustain the loss in cash flow than their larger counterparts. "I guarantee you that some firms will go out of business as a result of sequestration," said Mark Drever, president of Virginia-based Xcelerate Solutions, a small firm that relies on the Pentagon for about half of its business.
