TI perks up Q1 forecast on better IC demand

Texas Instruments is seeing better business in this quarter than it previously forecast, and is now predicting its profits will be 28 cents to 32 cents a share on revenue of $2.8 billion to $2.91 billion. That compares with the average analyst estimate of 29 cents a share on revenue of $2.81 billion, as compiled by Bloomberg.
