Disney XD well-poised for this year's upfront

Since its re-branding from Toon Disney to Disney XD in February of 2009, the network has seen a double-digit increase in young male viewers. That type of momentum, Disney executives say they believe, will make Disney XD a hot commodity when the upfront ad-sales season kicks off despite increased competition from a growing field of competitors.
