$8 billion in deals fill Hong Kong's IPO pipeline

As foreign investors back away from many Asian stock markets, the Hong Kong stock exchange is preparing to launch initial public offerings worth as much as $8 billion. China's Inner Mongolia Yitai Coal plans to raise $1.5 billion in a Hong Kong IPO next month, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing an unidentified person familiar with the transaction.
