Rising food prices to bolster biotech crop adoption, seed firms say

Some seed companies believe that emerging markets will see greater adoption of biotech crops, driven by increasing food prices, the Financial Times reported. Daniel Rahier, head of DuPont's biotechnology policy, said the governments of Indonesia, Vietnam and other countries are calling on companies to seek approval for their biotech seeds.
