Apple's iPad is the dominant device in tablet ad impressions

Apple's iPad by a wide margin is the dominant tablet for ad impressions, accounting for 87% of the market in January, according to mobile marketing and ad tech company Velti. Adding to the iPad's advantage is its high ad click-through rate, 33% greater than on the iPhone and more than double the rate on Android devices, Velti noted.
