Pilot performs emergency landing when landing gear fails

Pilot Chuck Burkhead performed an emergency landing in a Cessna 310 aircraft on Tuesday when his landing gear failed to deploy. "We were unable to extend the landing gear in the airplane, so we tried both the standard procedure and the emergency protocols," he said. "Neither worked, so the last resort was to make a wheels-up landing."
