Students in England warned not to take GCSEs early

For some students in England, taking the GCSEs early "can be detrimental", says Education Secretary Michael Gove. While Gove is considering ways to discourage the practise -- about one-fourth of students took maths and English GCSEs early in 2010 -- some teachers say it can benefit students to get a jump-start.
