CDC warning: New coronavirus could reach the U.S.

The CDC has put U.S. health care workers on alert for the new and potentially deadly SARS-related coronavirus because research indicates the virus is capable of passing between people. Eight of the 14 people known to have been infected with the virus have died, and officials note that doctors should consider the virus in anyone who develops an unexplained respiratory infection after visiting the Middle East. The CDC has set up a website with resources related to the virus.
