Meloxicam improves nighttime activity in arthritic cats, suggesting the medication may be beneficial for relieving pain associated with feline osteoarthritis, according to Canadian researchers. The data indicate "central sensitization is an underlying mechanism of pain in OA cats as is already thought in humans," the researchers said.
