Dealers promise improvements in OTC derivatives market

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York received a letter from 14 major dealers offering an outline of how they plan to improve the over-the-counter derivatives market. Plans include improvements in standardization and transparency. The letter follows a January meeting at the New York Fed to discuss issues in the sector.
