U.S. employers will step up hiring 8% in Q2, survey finds

U.S. employers plan to increase hiring 8% in the second quarter, according to a survey by Manpower. That doesn't change the fact that the U.S. isn't even close to replacing jobs lost in the recession, economists said. At least 200,000 jobs a month would have to be added to affect the unemployment rate significantly. Since December, job creation has averaged 85,000 a month, the Labor Department said.
