Railroads pursue more business in oil-rich Bakken region

Canadian Pacific has started to transport crude oil to the Gulf Coast from an almost completed new rail terminal in North Dakota. About 530,000 barrels of crude oil are produced each day in the area, and railroads, including BNSF, are responsible for shipping about 25% of that.
