Leaders of the world's biggest oil and gas companies downplayed the threat of renewable energy to their industry. "The belief in an almost instantaneous transformation to alternative energy is worrisome to me," said Saudi Aramco President and CEO Khalid Al-Falih at an industry conference in Houston. Fossil fuels will still supply most of the electricity in 40 years' time, said Jim Mulva, chairman of ConocoPhillips.
