Mall owners lining up against bankruptcy-law change

U.S. mall and shopping-center owners are getting ready to oppose a change in the bankruptcy law that would give retail-store owners in bankruptcy extra time to decide which stores to close and which ones to keep open. The International Council of Shopping Centers is against the measure, to be introduced by U.S. Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y.
