Advisers: 401(k) fee disclosures' effects may extend to other plans

While some advisers say they expect consumers to ignore 401(k) fee disclosures that are scheduled to go into effect in July, others say they expect investors to ask questions about the costs of even non-401(k) accounts and to perhaps shop around for other deals. "People will finally understand that there is no free lunch. Somebody is getting paid to provide these services," said Michael Eisenberg of Eisenberg Financial Advisors.
