Broadcasters release 5-point spectrum plan for Mexico, Canada

Broadcasters are proposing a five-point plan for federal officials to ensure a seamless, post-incentive auction transition with Canada and Mexico, based on their experience with the 2009 DTV transition in the U.S. The plan calls for identifying and analyzing "non-operational allotments," conducting repacking evaluations, looking at how foreign TV and U.S. broadband affect each other, sharing technical data and working with the two countries on a long-term solution.
