Group: Bigger TV stations shouldn't get bigger slice of auction pie

The Federal Communications Commission should not adopt rules for the incentive spectrum auction that give bigger outlets in the same market a larger percentage than smaller ones, according to an FCC filing by the Expanding Opportunities for Broadcasters Coalition. "It does not matter to a wireless carrier whether the spectrum it receives was previously occupied by a full-power or a Class A station or a station with high or low ratings," the group writes.
