IBA Molecular begins production of PET radioisotope

IBA Molecular North America has initiated production of the radioisotope zirconium-89, which has applications for PET, at its facility in Richmond, Va. The company said it will offer direct distribution services for the radioisotope, which has a half-life of 78.41 hours.
