UNHCR: Syrian refugees may increase threefold

The number of Syrian refugees could be as high as 3 million by year's end, according to Antonio Guterres, head of the United Nations refugee agency. Separately, a UN report cites mass killings by Syrian government-backed militias that are sometimes sectarian. Meanwhile, humanitarian aid groups are struggling to get assistance to rebel-held areas.
