Mo. firm expected to benefit from Obama policy, stimulus plan

St. Louis-based Sigma-Aldrich, a provider of scientific kits and products for stem cell research, is one of the firms expected to benefit from the recent lifting of federal funding limits on embryonic stem cell research. The company also is looking to get a boost from the stimulus plan that allotted NIH funding for induced pluripotent stem cell research.
